Giza Plains/ Thorne Road
Enemies: Hyena, Gigantoad
Treasure: The chest near the entrance to Rabanastre might contain a Longbow.
Guide: The same general areas are still here, but now you have to circle around to the east to get to the entrance to the Nomad Village. Near the entrance is a Withered Tree. There are a number of these trees around the Plains, and you can knock them over and they'll drift off to the southeast. They allow access to a new area you can't reach during The Dry. You don't have to go to this area, but it is required for a Hunt, and has some interesting things on it.
Giza Plains/ Warrior's Wash
Enemies: Storm Elemental (When raining), Gigantoad, Hyena, Great Tortoise, Rain Dancer (Rare Game)
Treasure: The area might contain a Bronze Mace and Foe:Status-Silence.
Guide: This area is home to another of our favorite creatures: an Elemental. Like in the Sandsea, they are passive unless you use magic near them, so avoid them altogether. One day you'll be strong enough to fight them. That day is not today. The Great Tortoise here is also notable, because you can get the valuable Turtle Shell loot.
Giza Plains/ Giza's North Bank
Enemies: Ichthon, Hyena, Great Tortoise, Storm Elemental (When raining), Gigantoad
Treasure: The area might contain a Battle Bamboo.
Guide: Holy crap! A river! Name justified, let's all go home. Really though, there's another Withered Tree here, due east of the entrance from Throne Road. There are also more of those damn Elementals. After checking out these two side areas, I suggest heading back to the Thorne Road and into the Nomad Village.
Giza Plains/ Nomad Village
Enemies: N/A
Guide: Well...sure is lonely in these parts. Next to the Cockatrice pen is another Withered Tree, SHOW YOUR ARBOREAL DOMINANCE. You can also talk to the Moogle and Seeq near the Save Crystal. Not much else to do. Leave to the west.
Giza Plains/ Toam Hills
Enemies: Maruda Entite (When thunderstorm), Hyena, Gigantoad, Wooly Gator, Ichthon, Rain Dancer (Rare Game)
Treasure: The area might contain a Main Gauche, Heavy Coat, Chainmail, and Rose Corsage.
Guide: Yes, one type of Elemental wasn't enough. There are Maruda Entites here, and they are even more dangerous than the Storm Elementals. As usual, avoid completely, no magic, etc. Make your way west, then south. At the far eastern edge of the map, near the exit going south, is another Withered Tree. Also, the Wooly Gators here give good Exp. and sometimes valuable loot. Head south from the Withered Tree to the next area.
Giza Plains/ Starfall Field
Enemies: Ichthon, Hyena, Gigantoad, Wooly Gator, Rain Dancer (Rare Game)
Guide: Just south and east from the entrance from Toam Hills is another Withered Tree, strike it down. The western edge of this map still has an entrance to the Westersand, and to the south is the entrance to the Ozmone Plain, but for the moment, head east to the Crystal Glade where you found Jinn during The Dry.
Giza Plains/ Crystal Glade
Enemies: N/A
Guide: There's little besides a Save Crystal and a Withered Tree, but if you accepted the Gil Snapper Hunt you'll find the petitioner here. Head east again.
Giza Plains/ Giza's South Bank
Enemies: Hyena, Storm Elemental (When raining), Gigantoad, Great Tortoise, Rain Dancer (Rare Game)
Treasure: The area might contain a Rose Corsage and Jade Collar.
Guide: Now, if you've been diligent with the Withered Trees, there should be an entrance to a new area you can't reach during The Dry. Also, to the far east is an entrance to the Estersands. Time to explore new areas!
Giza Plains/ Tracks of the Beast
Enemies: Silicone Tortoise
Treasure: Tracks of the Beast contains the Feather of the Flock, and might contain a Black Belt, Jackboots, Foe: Status=Disable, and Foe: thunder-weak. I would recommend making an effort to get Foe: thunder-weak, since its extremely helpful and there are no other ways to obtain it for most of the game.
Guide: This is an interesting area indeed. The Silicone Tortoises here are quite strong, and I would avoid fighting them if this is your first time through the Plains during the Wet. But, while you're here, the Feather of the Flock is an item required for an important sidequest later in the game, so be sure to find the urn in the south east corner of the map. Also, if you are doing the Gil Snapper Hunt, you'll find Bansat here. He can tell you if the Gil Snapper is around or not. If it isn't, just leave and re-enter a few times and it will appear. The Gil Snapper is a dangerous Hunt though, and usually I'd wait till high 20's/low 30's before attempting.
When you're done exploring, head back to the Starfall Field and head south into the Ozmone Plain.
